“Whelp, better sell this cow before it runs out of milk,” said the cow.

“I won’t buy you,” said the man who used to milk the cow.

The cow looks at old mother cow, who is bad tempered, and alone. The cow looks at the old bull, who gorges four handlers a year. The cow looks for their friends, but does not know where they are.

“I think,” said the cow to the grass, “I will become a hamburger.”
